Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received the transfers I couldn't believe myself my heart was so heavy with joy. You should understand that a lot of organizations have come and only made empty promises to me, So this just showed me that there's people out there who really keep there word and want the best for other.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference its made in my daily life is that now I will have a house with proper floors and I sleep on the matress. And also having to see my children so happy as I am a single mother, When I gave them some pocket money it really just made me feel like I have done some thing so huge for them. They are happy so that makes me happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my transfers on cement because I want to fix my house and I also managed to buy a matress as you can imagine I was sleeping on the floor. Bought some maize and furniture. The rest of the money I want to use it for construction on the house like paying off the builders.
