Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
the moment i received my transfer i was very excited because it was my first time to have this good amount of money and i knew my family will have food and my dream of improving my house will came true.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
i used to do piece works in order to find food for my family. some days we could sleep on an empty stomach because of unavailability of food in the house. from the day i received my transfer, my family has been having enough food to eat each day and i have been having enough time to concentrate on my own activities.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received my transfer from Give Directly the first thing i bought was food, since i used to do piece works just to find food for my family. secondly i bought iron sheets because my house was grass thatched and it was my dream to improve it. the remaining amount was used to buy bicycle, clothes, mattress and other basic needs.

Us receiving this money really means alot because it will give us a room to boost this our small business.

The happiest part of the day is from morning to evening because that's when alot of people come to buy things and we are always happy that we are making money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
So far the biggest hardship has been smoothly running this business I'm saying this because this is the only source of money that we have,and sometimes we find ourselves in a situation that we literally have nothing to eat and we end up using the money meant to order the grocery things this always drag the business down.
