What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my transfer to pay school fees for my child who was joining high school. I bought additional iron sheets and timber to complete the house I was building and also bought a sack of maize for my family's consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have enrolled my child in school and also I would not have built a bigger house. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has transformed the lives of individuals who benefited from the transfer and also their transfer is not a loan to be repaid back. GiveDirectly did not well do because not all those who were enrolled got the transfer, next time all those registered should receive the transfer.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used part of my second transfer to buy 15 plastic chairs for hire since I did not have any running business and I saw hire of chairs as a lucrative business in our area. I then used a total of 25000 KES for school requirements and fees for my child that was joining secondary school. The rest was spent on dry maize since my family did not have enough food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I had nothing of my own but now it has enabled me to get chairs that I hire out for a sustained income that is sustaining my family. I am really grateful to Give Directly.
