In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has improved the living standards of people in the village and almost 80% of the people who received the money have new homes. Personally I can not see anything bad that GD has done so far. I only see the beauty that our village has become all thanks to the transfers from Give Directly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because as a farmer I was able to acquire a water pump that I would not have managed to buy on my own if it were no to the transfers that I received. My farm is ever green even during drought seasons. This has changed my life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I plastered my main house with sand and cement and bought a sofa set. These are some of the things that I had been longing for in my life but I never had means of accomplishing or acquiring them. I was living in poverty.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from Give Directly, I felt very excited. This is because it was my first time receiving such big amount of money.
