I spent 40,000 KES of my third transfer on plastering our three room house which we built using our second transfer. My wife and I never had a house and lived in one of the rooms in my mother's house for many years, which is supposed to be a taboo according to Luo traditions and customs. The biggest difference in my daily life is that I own a cow which is a great investment since it will reproduce to younger ones and milk in the near future. I would then change the cow back to money when I will be in need especially in paying my children's school fees and when that time comes, I will be having not just a cow but cows which I would be able to sell some and still have one or two left.

I spent my first transfer on fixing a wooden door 4000 KES.I bought a bag of maize 3000 KES and three school uniform 1950 KES. I also bought household expenditures 1050 KES.
