How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that I am building my house that will accommodate a lot of activities such as a kitchen for cooking , and multiple rooms to sleep in. Compared to before, this house will relieve me from the burden of buying grass every year that I would use to renovate my hut.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that has brought happiness to my life. This money has enabled me to build, and solve some finacial issues such as buying seedlings that I did not have. GiveDirectly on the other hand has done nothing wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
Through my husband, I spent my second transfer to buy more building materials such as cement, grass, sand. I used some for paying and feeding labor that has started building my house. I then used some money to hire labor that helped me to plough, and plant the ground nuts seedlings that I had bought using my very second transfer.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My heart was filled with joy when I received the money. This transfer was sent at a time when I slept in an old structure that needed repair but I didn't have the money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer on bricks and a bicycle worth UGX 720000 and 250000 respectively. In addition, I paid school fees arrears of UGX 84000, bought food and household items which include clothes, bed linen, utensils worth UGX 146000. I'm planning to spend the balance of UGX 500000 on more construction materials.
