How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am glad that the cash transfers empowered me financially to pay the children's school fees. The second cash transfers completed the construction of a permanent house. Unfortunately,in the month of May, my house was destroyed by heavy rains. I was miserable because my dreams of living under a permanent house were shuttered.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to send people cash transfers that helped us for example to construct permanent houses.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second cash transfer to complete the construction of the house. I also paid school fees with part of the cash transfer.
