What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent twenty five thousand shillings of the second transfer to pay school fees for my daughter. I also painted my house and used the rest to buy a wheelbarrow and do some house shopping for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I thikg GD is helping people in the society by uplifting their living standards like what they did to me. Personally I do not see what the organization does not do well. I think that all what they said to us before the transfers came through were fulfilled as per our desires.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different from how it was before because for one I stayed in a house that had a very bad condition. I managed to renovate my house by installing new windows, I also managed to plaster the house and finally painted it to give it a beautiful look.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying fees for my two children and bought food for the family consumption. I also did some shoping for my child and used most of the amount on reparing my house by fixing new windows and plastering it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was overwhelmed for joy because I had never received such a lumpsum amount of money at once . I was really in need of many things and the first things that I thought of settling was paying fees and reparing my house.
