Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have owned a bicycle that has eased my movements. I can now take a shorter time to move to the hospital with my children and it also helps me in fetching water. Further more, I have bought most of the construction materials for an iron roofed house. I am planning to start the construction work after getting my second transfer. Previously, I moved long distances to fetch water and to take my children to the hospital that often took a lot of time.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received a mobile money message at 6:00 am and I went ahead to check my account balance. Upon confirming, I became very happy to have got money for acquiring a bicycle and construction materials.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase 2 trips of bricks, 9 pieces of iron sheets, 8 bags of cement, a bicycle, a mattress, bed sheets, utensils and hiring a piece of land.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to change the standard of living in my home. I will build an iron roofed house and sleep comfortably with my children and buy oxen that will support my farming activity. This willl improve food productivity in my home. With this, my family will be albe to feed better.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my children return from school and they are playing. Their stories are fun to me too.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of oxen to support in farming. I dont have money that I would otherwise use to buy my own. For years, I do casual labour so as to raise money with which to pay the person who comes to work for me or I take some time to work for him in exchange of his service. This is a very hard thing to do and what really makes it hard is that I always cultivate late because I first have to wait until I can hire the service which at the end effects the yield of my crops hence food shortage.
