Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My message came while I was selling. It was one of the beautiful moment in my live that I can never forget. I felt so happy to have received such a cash that I never thought of receiving. Even now reflecting on that moment brings me so much joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that I am able to plaster my shop because of GiveDirectly cash payment. Since I build this shop, I was unable to plaster it due to no money. I have lost on profits many times because the temperature for the goods in the shop is unfavourable. This has resulted in goods getting damage everytime. And my business is the only source of income to care for my family and I. Receiving this payment from GiveDirectly means everything to me. It is going to help improve my shop and keep goods from spoiling.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Really, I have not use my money yet since I cashed out. I have planned on spending my recent transfer on buying cements to plaster my shop. I have a mini provisional business that I operate in a shop. And most time my goods get damage because the shop is not plaster. It is this business that my family and I survive on. Receiving this payment has giving me the financial strength to improve my shop by plastering the floor and wall, which will preserve my goods and keep it from spoiling.
