What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on giving my husband to pay my parents dowry as had been agreed upon (20,000 KES), a water storage tank (7,000 KES) to facilitate my family, bought a heifer (16,000 KES) to provide family milk in future and spent the balance on cementing our outer verandah.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy iron sheets which am planning to use in building my house. I bought a cow for rearing, a sack of maize for consumption. I bought a mattress since the one I was sleeping was old and the remaining amount, I have saved to buy timber and pay laborers who will build my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have a cow which will provide my family with milk and also I have building materials ready to build my house.

I spent my first transfer of buying 12 pieces of cushions at 3500 KES, a half a sack of maize at 2000 KES, chairs at plastic 2000 KES, clothing for my children at 500 KES, school fees at 300 KES while the remaining amount of money was spent on food.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Having to stay in the house as a housewife without even a small business has been the biggest challenge of my life

In the evening when done with my house chores and has time to catch some rest as I think of the following day
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will be able to make a few of my dreams come true. I hope to buy a cow, which will be able to provide me with milk for sale. In addition I won't have to stay in my small house anymore
