Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at the market selling airtime when i got the money alert message. I was so happy because i knew that my plans of building a big house will now be possible
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is the relief that i will finally be able to build a decent and spacious house. My current house is small and was built while i was a bachelor. Now i am married and need a family size house which i will be able to build, thanks to you
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have saved the money. I want to add with the second transfer and build a big family house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money has come at the right time for me. It means my dreams to go to South Africa will be fulfilled.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months, the thing that brought joy to me was Xmas. This was a festive season and the whole village was busy celebrating so it was a good day for me and my family because there was so much laughter and food around the village.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently, being in the village already is a challenge, meaning I face a lot of challenges. However, my biggest challenge currently is that it is very hard to have money. I sell Airtel units but still the money I get is very small to do anything noticeable.
