What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to complete my house because it was incomplete. I bought a cow with a portion of the remaining transfer. I also purchased corns for family consumption with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a better house and live a comfortable life in it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it doesn't go publicly that it has sent money to the village members. I think GD should just continue providing us with the cash.

The biggest difference in my daily life is having more space for all my things.

I spent my first transfer on buying a mattress, one sack of maize, food, clothes, I also bought some school uniforms and school books for my children who are still in school

I felt very happy when I received the cash because during that time I was very broke and couldn't afford buying food for my family, this gave me hope for at least affording food during that season

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to buy building materials and build a new bigger house since my current house is in a bad shape that it can fall at any time.The rest I will use to start cloth selling business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Since my spouse passed on five years back,I have managed to take care of my children as a widow and I have also built my own homestead. That makes me proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that I have food shortage since my last harvest did not yield much because I lacked fertilizers to improve on my farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I am working in the farm with my children.
