How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The newest plan that I have now is to complete my house. I have been living in hard poverty with my family for years. I was not able to even build a zinc house. since give directly came into my village I'm now about to have a zinc house in my village. I also have two children that are not been in school because of their low income. I just bought my last zinc and nails with some provisions for the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly is doing a great job in the life of we the poor people of Liberia. givedirectly is one NGO that doesn't do pick and choose with people. I also love their ways of working in our county. they are very transparent in the job. I'm grateful for this opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Many thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. There are two major goals I have set before receiving this transfer . The first goal is to start building my own house because my dwelling house is at the verge of falling. I want to build new house inorder to relocate from my family house. Secondly, My little sister school fees payment hasbeen a challenge for me. Our father died years back and I am the only person responsible to take care of my old mother and the rest of the family. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my worries to take care of my family will soon be over.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly offered freed cashs to everyone in this village without and struggle. Givedirectly is one of the best organizations that always live by their commitment. Giveirectly staffs didnot pick and choose. Every work Givedirectly is doing in this Community is unique and nothing needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to buy one bundle of white color 14 gage zinc to add up to the first one bundle of zinc I previously purchased with my first transfer. I want to build three bed rooms house. The balance of my transfer was used to pay school fees for my younger sister and also bought one bag of 25kg rice for eating. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my long time suffering will come to an end .

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My household doesn't own a house which have caused us to sleep in one of my neighbors old house. When I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use portion of it to build a house, and invest the remaining one in a small business that could serve as a source of income for my household".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last 6 months, I was seriously sick and my family never had money to send me to hospital for treatment, I almost died. Seeing myself alive, that's what makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenge I'm facing currently is lack of finance. My household is involved into farming, but the proceeds from the farm is not enough to cater to my household needs, at the same time build a house, and start a business".
