How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to fix my old house and make it to a new structure again, since I have the opportunity to work on it

I do appreciate Givedirect highly for the assistance that I received from them during the four months period. During the four months period,it was not easy, but through Givedirectly support, I was able to received such an amount of money

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Korpo, before GD came, I planned to renovate my house but could not be realized due to lock of funding. I'm burning and selling coal but this could not raise the money for the renovation. I was enrolled as a recipient on the GD program and received my first transfer. With the first transfer that I received, I started the renovation.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Firstly, I want to take this time to say a very big thanks to Give Directly for services rendered us during the entire enrollment process. You did a great and excellent job.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to buy two (2) bundles of zinc for my house renovation, paid people to cut the Sticks for the building and I was also able to buy food for the children as well paid their school fees.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Korpo, no, my plan still the same before receiving the transfer for Give Directly. With our plan to build a house for the family could not be realized due to lock of money. Receiving transfer from Give Directly, I was able to start building a new house for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Firstly I say thanks to Give Directly for the great work done and the unique services rounded to us as recipients. The entire process were all good and will done.

This is a great opportunity for me and my family. I was able to buy zinc, cement and planks for our new house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I saw the money in my phone, I was happy singing praises to God for his wonderful things he has continued to do for me
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The difference is I was living in a house that been leaking, but now my house is roofed and I am no longer sleeping in a leaking house

I used the money to changed my roof of the house, bought cement to plaster the house and small market to keep myself busy

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The recipient said her house is leaking, therefore if she is successful she will use portion of the money to roof her house. She also said she will give her daughter money to start business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The recipient said she is always worry about her health condition, sometimes she get Happy whenever her children are around her comforting her.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The recipient said she was hit with a traditional sickness where she has been taken from place to place but no improvement. According to her she want to do a check up but no financial support.
