How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better than the way it was before I got the transfer. My family is healthy and I have put on weight because we feed well on a balance diet and thrice a day. This transfer has also enabled me take my son to pursue a course in nursing. Prior to receiving this transfer, I depended on casual labor for income to feed my family. We could have one meal in a day and only green vegetables. I thank GiveDirectly for the transfers, I wouldn't have managed to take my son to school on my own.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money that has relieved me from some challenges that I was facing. I do not see any thing bad with their work.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 1600,000 of my second transfer to pay tuition for my son who is pursuing a course in a school of nursing. The balance of the money, I am spending on food.
