How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the transfer i never really thought that i could do any livestock rearing or building a house of my own. After receiving the transfers,i bought goats that i am now rearing and i have saved up some money to start building my own house when the rainy season is over.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I really liked the fact that you provided everyone of us with phones to ensure that all the recipient will be communicated with directly and also us as recipients can communicate with you directly. I did not observe anything wrong with the program

I have spent most of the transfer on buying bags of maize for consumption and goats.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy fertilizer since the growing season is around the corner and I will also manage to renovate my house , I have electricity but my house is grass thatched and some times I feel this is risky , the financial burden the prevented me from doing this has now come to an end thanks to this organization
What is the happiest part of your day?
This year I had a better yield comparing to the other years and this gave me so much delight
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge that I am currently facing is lack of access to proper food , I barely make enough to make me survive for a week, I have to keep fetching for food on a daily basis and this is hectic
