Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have a new goal now but rather saved money from the sales of my farm produce to pay school fees for my children. I wish to see them performing well in school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I was able to pay school fees for my children in secondary school and in colleges. I depend on the casual jobs in the village and also from the sales of my farm produce. The amount of money that I get through this is so small and cannot gather for all the basic needs including paying school fees for my children. I borrowed a loan from the bank and clear all the school fees on time. I used the money that I receive from GiveDirectly to repay this loan. My children used to be sent home to collect the school fees and this was affecting their performance. When I paid their school fees on time there performance has improved because most of the time they were in school studying. I am so happy because I no longer get stress. I have devoted much of my time on my farm.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I would be in a position to produce more food for the family since I have devoted much of my time on farming rather than doing much of the casual jobs like before. I will have saved enough money for the school fees for my children.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goals for the next four months is to pay school fees next term on time to make my children stay in school and not sent home. I will also wish to add stock to the business to earn an extra income to meet other household needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that our children are no longer sent home to collect school fees like before. I depend on the small business to earn an income to support my spouse in paying the school fees for our children in secondary school. My spouse used to struggle so much in doing that alone. I borrowed a loan from the bank to pay the school fees and I used the money that I get from GiveDirectly to repay the installments. My children were not sent home the last term, they were in school full time and their performance improved compared to other terms. I am so much grateful for the support.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have expanded my small business of selling milk at home. I wish to buy more milk from Dairy farmers and add value so that I sell at a higher price. The amount of money that I will get will be for the school fees for my daughter who will join form one next year.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I currently live in a modern, spacious and decent house that I was part of its construction. I am happy that through Givedirectly monthly transfer I am an independent woman that can be relied on. I used part of my transfer to support the daily household basic needs hence I don't majorly depend on my husband like before. I am so happy currently that I easily access my basic needs and also have the power to enter into different business and goal unlike before when I couldn't finance them.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I spend most of my time at home on our farm hence farming has become part of me. Even though I am part of our farming, I feel that I do not own it since it is financed by my husband and he majorly controls it. In the next four months, poultry farming is my new goal in life since it requires little money to start and I have more time to manage it hence I can do it well. This will help me increase my income through egg sales hence will be in a better position to meet my household basic needs and other financial necessities in the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding my current transfer is the ability to play a role in my family in supporting the family projects and basic needs unlike before. I had been a housewife for my entire past life and always depended on my husband who had to struggle harder to meet the basic household needs and children education which was so demanding to him. My husband had used his saving to build a house for our family that could have stopped before its completion when the children school fees became more than his salary. When I started receiving the transfer from GD, I took a loan that I injected to the project and this the biggest difference in my daily life that with my efforts we were able to complete our house. I am so happy that I was part of such a decent, spacious good looking house construction and I can also be proud of. I served the loan with the monthly transfer from Givedirectly and I am happy that I have fully repaid it and have my house ready for use.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
It is always my wish to be independent so that I can support my family needs. In the next six months, I expect my life to be better than today in that I will have be owning a poultry farming hence I will be generating my own income trough eggs sales hence I will more independent and more stable financially and this will my happiness since I will be supporting my family needs and I will be a better position to invest more in different goal that comes up.
