Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have a motorbike that has facilitated movement and generate income. I am now leaving a happy life because my basic needs like food and health care are met in time. In addition, I have acquired bricks that I intend to use for constructing an iron roofed house for myself. Before receiving this transfer, I had a challange of feeding my self because I had no stable source of income and I had no hope of building an iron roofed house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My trustee informed me that I had received my money at around 7:00 am. I was overwhelmed with joy because I had got money to construct an iron roofed house and paying for a motorbike.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 700,000 of my first transfer to pay for a motor bike together with my daughter in law, bought bricks at UGX 400,000 and UGX 400,000 I also bought house hold items (a mattress, bed sheets and utensils) and foodstuffs. I have not yet spent UGX 200,000 but I plan to spend it for paying construction workers.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to build iron-roofed house and buy apiece of land. Iam settled in a small plot but have no where to cultivate hence I experience some poverty each year. Once I buy land ,I will be farming on it to realise some produce. This produce I will be selling and consuming some hence reduction in household poverty levels.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening hours. I chat with my children after returning from school. I tell them old stories of those days and they feel excited .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is food shortage. I donot own land for farming hence my family faces bitting poverty every year. Iam some time forced to eat once hence malnurious.
