Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when i received my transfer i was very happy because the amount of money was enough to reduce poverty levels in my family

I did not have a dream that by this time this year i would build a house with iron sheets nor would i get enough food for my family. Thanks to GiveDirectly for coming to my resque, now my life has completely changed than before i received the transfer

I spent my transfer on 20 ironsheets, 5 bags of maize, clothes for my children and am now moulding bricks for building a new house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a great opportunity for me to build a better home. My house is in poor condition and i hope i will now be able to build a house and well roofed with ironsheets when i get the money
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is at night because that is the time i am able to see my whole family. Everyone is busy up and down during the day and only at night my whole family is home and that makes me happy
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is finding enough food for my family through out the year because i usually do not harvest much which does not take me through many months
