My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago because for the last four months I have been able to purchase goats for rearing. I don't think I would have managed to buy them at once considering I am a student and I don't have a source of income. I know when I finish college before securing a job I'll be able to take care of my needs because the goats will have reproduced and multiplied.

I'm still a student and I do not have a house. I am not growing any younger, I need to have my room because I won't sleep with my parents forever. Most of my agemates have also built their own houses. So for the next four months, I have an additional goal of saving some money so that I can use it to construct my house. I will be the happiest person when I finally build my own and I'll feel more independent.

I'm still a student and I do not have any source of income. Being in college, I normally require so many things that my dad can't afford. I, therefore, bought a goat for rearing so that in the future I can sell the young ones to raise some money for meeting some of these needs. I thank GiveDirectly for considering young adults like me. At least they recognize we also have needs which are usually neglected by other aid relief programs.

Currently, I do not have a house and I'm planning to construct one very soon. I am now old enough and need some privacy. I at times feel uncomfortable sharing the same room with my siblings. I also hate the awkward moments that occur because we share the same house with my parents. Therefore, in the next six months, I expect to have saved enough money to construct the house.

Previously, I did not have anything to look up to as a source of income for my family. I used to work as a casual labourer to earn the little income that could not pay school fees for our children but only buy two meals a day. I saved the transfers in a merry-go-round and bought livestock that I can now rear towards buying a cow. My family can now afford three meals a day as I now have a trusted source of income for my family and I can pay school fees for my children.

I do no new goals because I need to concentrate on fulfilling the other goals I had set beforehand.

The biggest difference in my life right now is that I have fulfilled my livestock rearing dreams. I was able to save the transfers and buy livestock i.e goats for rearing to help in times of financial constraints. I plan to sell the goats later and buy cows. This is a plan I had put in place to curb financial struggles in my home. We can easily get money by selling the livestock to pay school fees for our children and also buy food for family consumption.

I am planning to venture fully into livestock farming and it is going to be the main source of income for my family. I would sell the goats and buy cows that would earn my family income in times of financial constraints. My family do not have to worry about where to get money from. I can pay school fees for my children with ease, buy food for their consumption and also buy them personal items like clothes and shoes.

Currently, my life is different in that I have been able to buy three goats. Through this, I hopeful that they shall reproduce and I will sell some to get money which I will use to buy a dairy cow to make an extra coin by selling its milk.

My new goal for the next four months is to buy a goat and expand my flock of goats on a monthly basis since I am planning to venture on rearing goats as a source of income since I have done this before I am certain of good returns.

Knowing that I was GiveDirectly's beneficiary, saving in a merry go round was a priority hence I joined a savings group with some of my community members and now it has come in handy since the biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to buy three goats and fortunately two of them have already reproduced hence starting a small livestock business to make an extra coin has become a reality, As the business has always been my priority with the aim of making an extra coin.

I am very optimistic that in the next six months I would built my own traditional house called 'Simba '.This will be necessitated from the profits I will get out of selling these goats and buy building materials that are needed for the project.

I now own goats which I never owned before,and I never thought I would own anytime soon because I am still a astudent and most of what I earn from casual jobs is usually channeled towards my school requirements.

I want to save some of these transfers every month so that I can be able to a cow,even a small one.

For the last four months, I no longer have to struggle so much to raise my own pocket money bacause the money that I receive from GD helps me take care of my personal and shool requirements.

I expect to see better results in my school work because I now have more time dedicated towards my education rather than doing casual jobs to earn money.

My new goal is to repair my house by fixing a new roof because currently the roof is very old.

My life is currently different that it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have managed to buy one more goat to add to the flock that I already have ; I can say that I seen myself reaching my goal which is owning oxen an dairy cows after reselling some goats later on.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have managed to buy oxen for ploughing our piece of land.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly is that, I have managed to buy a goat and right now I feel that I going to achieve my goal; which is reselling then so as to buy oxen that will help in ploughing our piece of land.
