What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to cement the walls of my house. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a stable house. I was living in fear because my house was in bad shape and was almost going down but could not establish a better one due to financial constrains.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it deals with the beneficiaries directly without going through the village gate keepers. At the moment I'm not aware of what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying building materials which were used in building my new house because the one I used to live in was very small and squeezed. I then spent the remaining amount on buying a sack of corn for my family's feeding.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now much happier and content because the house that I had wanted to build for a longtime I was finally able to build.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the whole of my first transfer on buying dry maize for food, paying part of school fees and buying school uniform for my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt relieved the moment I received the money since my children's uniforms were torn and they also needed to report to school yet I had no money to facilitate all this.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My main plan is to build another house since the current one is weak and likely to fall during heavy rains and wind and use the remaining amount to buy one dairy cow to raise.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is being able to constantly farm and the ability to save from selling the produce which I use to cater for other family needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on the poor status of my house, whenever it rains I'm always worried to could fall and render me homeless.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in morning when I clean my house and make it tidy before going to the farm.
