Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to buy a tailoring machine. I know at that time I will not have managed to finish the course but I will be having enough knowledge to start tailoring business to boost my income and help raise money to clear my training arrears in time before I take the final examinations.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Before the transfers, I did not have any form of income. I used to depend on my parents for all my needs. Worst of all, I did not have any plans for the future. All I was waiting for is to get married and be a housewife. This is because education-wise I did not do well hence I did not have any motivation for the future. The only goal I was encouraged to achieve with my parents is to go for a hairdressing course which is so much flooded in my area yet we did not have the finances. When I started receiving my transfers from GD, I felt God had answered my prayers. I registered for a tailoring course which I am currently undertaking and will finish in six months time.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have my own tailoring business. I plan to buy a tailoring machine which I will start using at our home before I get a permanent business premise. I will save part of my monthly transfers so that I can rent a business premise where I will start my own tailoring business. Through this, I will be exposed to many clients which will increase my income from the profits. Before the transfers come to an end, I want to have a visible change and the only way to do this is to start a business with the transfers to help me stabilise my the business.
