What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing we are planning is to buy is food , clothes and school materials for our children and we are planning to pay school fees for our elder son Epimaque as he is currently not studying because we can't afford it. In the first installment we are also planning to buy a pig for $80 and we also plan to rent a land for $50. The second installment we are planning to renovate our house and buy fertiliser to use in our land and we will be paying out some debt and the balance we are planning to continue using it in our daily life buying food , house materials and using it in our land. Receiving this money means getting a gift to take us out of poverty and this will allow us to sustain our life without working for others and our son will be able to go back to school and continue his studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We have been able to get school fees and school materials for our children, in the past days we had a long sunny season and our land were not producing enough it required my husband Nepomscene and my elder son Epimaque to go to work for others to be able to get some money. And we have been fortunate to get children's support from the government in the school where our 3 kids study and now they are provided with food when they are at school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our life depend on farming but this area is surended mainly by hills and rocks in many places which make it hard terracing our land and when we are in sunny season we don't get as much production as needed because we don't even have access to water and we don't have access to enough fertiliser to use in our land either Organic and inorganic. Another challenge we are currently facing is lacking access to roads, when we need to go to the hospital we travel a long distance by passing trough small areas that are not even adequate and it is hard for our children to go to school as well because the shools are located far from where we live.
