How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because through these transfers, my grand daughter was able to access better treatment and surgery for hirschsprung disease from Mulago Hospital. I am very glad that she can now excrete normally. Before these transfers, I used to suffer cleaning her up all the time because she would excrete stool through her colon all the time. This condition was direful and I would not have managed to treat her on my own . I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for the cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through sending us cash transfers that have enabled me pay school fees for the children and medical bills for a grand daughter. I couldn't have managed on my own. In my community, it has enabled many to improve on their standards of living. In a nutshell, GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
Paid medical bills for my grand daughter who was operated.
