What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy a bed and a mattress since the one I had was too old. I also bought a radio and foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now enjoy my sleep on the new mattress I purchased. I had some old mattress which couldn't afford me a better sleep as such was remaining awake for the better part of the night. Besides, I always listen to the radio and get news directly from the reporter compared to the days when people in the village used to narrate me of the current affairs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is treating people equally, no one get more than the other. Even though GD does wonders but it have aught to train people on financial management before sending the transfer.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My main plan is to use part of my transfer on buying three bulls to help me in ploughing my farms, and the remaining amount, I will use to buy household items like furniture and beddings.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having built my current house. We used to live in a thatched house which would leak mostly during rainy season making our lives very difficult.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we're facing currently is on making ends meet. With no bulls to help with ploughing our other farms, we only rely on manual cultivation which can only provide small produce.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm attending to my farm.
