Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in life is to save some money every month so that I can later use it to build a spacious house for my family. We are currently living in a one-room house and whenever I am at home, I am forced to cook at my inlaw's house since I do not have a kitchen.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now a stress-free person. This is because I have been able to pay my house rent on time and buy enough food using my transfers. Without these transfers, I would be surviving with debts from different people. This is because the money my spouse earns from doing different casual jobs at home is always not enough to cater for my school fees and our bills.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life will have changed because I will have completed my studies. I am also hoping that I will not be having any loan or rent arrears. Also, I am optimistic that I will have started saving some money that will enable me to build a spacious house for my family. I will be through with my final examinations in the next two months hence this will enable me to start saving some money because I will no longer be living in a rented house.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have been able to cater to my family needs without much struggle. Even though I am a farmer, there are other commodities that I had to struggle a lot to buy them daily. I am so happy that currently, I don't have to wait until harvest season to get what to sell to get money. I have been able to buy these commodities on time while having a work-life balance as I no longer have to overwork myself to get money.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Being a farmer, I aim to improve my farming practices. Since I am not able to change my farming at once, my additional goal in life is to start saving some money to use in buying a dairy cow. I am planning to open a Mshwari lock savings account for this saving plan. I believe the soon I buy a cow, the sooner I will be relieved of the cost of buying milk.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfers is that I have been able to employ modern farming practices. GiveDirectlty transfer has empowered me to acquire enough artificial fertilizer, hybrid seeds and good land preparation in my farming. I have had poor yields in my past due to my old methods of farming. Currently, I am optimistic that I will have a good harvest this year which will last us till the next harvesting season.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have started my savings plan towards the purchase of a dairy cow. This will be my happiness and hope of realizing my goal. My spouse will be using his transfers on our basic needs as I save mine towards this project.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Previously, it was challenging to raise money for meeting basic needs because I didn't have a reliable source of income. In most cases, I had to spend a lot of time working on people's farm in order to raise money for a single meal. I'm so grateful to for making it easier to meet these needs. I'm at peace and proud of myself because of the fact that I can provide a whole day's meals to my children.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to ensure that we buy a piece of land where we would build home for us. the current piece we are staying in belongs to our parents and it is too small for us to build in. I want a piece of land of my own where I can run different activities without having to worry about overusing someone's land. I generally expect my life and that of my small family to generally improve.
