How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I did not receive these transfers, I would not have managed to build a house for myself. It would have taken 2 years for me to source money for a house. This program has made it possible for me to build a house within three months and I am very grateful for that.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Many people in my village are very happy with the work of GiveDirecrly. We have built nice houses for our families and the village looks developed as compared to the way it was before.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning on finishing the house that I started building using the first transfer. I have bought iron sheets for the roof of my house. I saved some of the money so that I can buy cement to use while finishing my house.
