How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is so much difference with my life now than before the transfer, for instance I havd have bought food for my family, I am building my house, both of which I wouldn't have managed without the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
This is my first time being a recipient in any program so I honestly say that there is anything GD isn't doing well because I don't remember any other organizations in my community going door to door explaining the program and giving anyone a chance unlike with other programs that is infested with corruption
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I received my transfer a couple of weeks ago and I have bought 10, 000 burnt bricks, river sand , timber, ironsheets, wires and roofing nails. I have also paid the mason who shall build my house half his fee and he has promised to commence work next week

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am grateful for being considered in this program. With the money, I will be able to build a house. I will also start a business of selling maize.
I also plan to buy kitchen utensils and furniture
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy whenever I have money. With money, I am able to buy all basic necessities.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It's really challenging to find money because I don't have a specific income generating activity.
