How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy to have household items like mattress, and I have a business helping me generate some money to support my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well uplifting people's livelihood in the area by giving them money to acquire livestock, household items, taxi motorcycles, build houses; and there's nothing I see that it didn't do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy second hand taxi motorcycle, bought household items like mattress, bed-sheets, utensils, and spent some to start selling lung fish as a business.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am happy because am going to get married and my parents too will be happy with me.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt so happy, I ululated on top of my voice.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying livestock that my husband is going to give to my parents as bride price( 2 bulls, 2 goats)at 1,019,000ugx, He is also going to give them 100,000ugx on top of the livestock. I used 300,000ugx as capital for our business, I also bought clothes, the balance of the money will be for food for the actual marriage function.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a means of helping my spouse to raise money for paying dowary since he has not married me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is always after lunch beacuse I make my self engage in stories with my friends.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I face in my life is hunger mostly when the drought prolongs for so long all the food will be destroyed.
