Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When the GIVE DIRECTLY people came here and told us that they were going to send us money, I was so excited that my heart always leap whenever I heard the sound of message on my phone. I would always open the message with the thought that the message was from GIVE DIRECTLY and more often when I checked, the message was from another source. This continue until I came in Tubmanburg for my niece wedding and while attending the wedding I received a message saying " you have received $40, 375 Liberian Dollars from GIVE DIRECTLY INC" I was so happy that I was anxiously awaiting the wedding to end so I could go and cash out my transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If the cash transfer is enough, I will firstly recondition my house. Thereafter, If I still have some balance, I will invest it in to business to sustain my kids schooling.
What is the happiest part of your day?
A surprise relief of my kids' school fees. This actually brought great joy and happiness to me because, some of my kids are in higher classes with in the secondary school and some needed to sit for their six period and exam. I would have been blamed if they haven't taken their exams saying, mama, you have disappointed us. You have failed to pay our fees and now we were not able to complete our academic year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenges are in numbers but the key ones is (my kids schooling). Since my husband ( their father ) passed off in 2013, his family neglected the children and I and I have been the only person caring for them.
