What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means alot to me and my family. Its like God has answered my prayers as I plan on buying a piece of land at $813. After purchasing this land, I will use $271 to buy seedlings of maize, cassava and beans and the harvests for food and sell . I shall buy a cow at $948 which will provide calves and in the end leads to a herd , I shall use $135 to invest in my sewing business to buy clothing materials so that I can make some clothes and put on sale.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I planted cassava and yams last year and the harvest fair enough. The food which I harvested has been consumed but remaining food has been stored. This will ensure that I have some food supply for some time that my family can have. This prevented them from moving to different neighbours staring at there food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The greatest challenge I have faced was when I planted my crops at the top of the hill last year and due to the heavy rains from October, they were carried away. This greatly affected me on planting more crops there as I am an old lady I feel like a burden to my children who send me money to support myself.
