How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I do not have to work extra hard to raise income for my family like before. I was able to pay the hospital bill when I was sick with ease because of the transfers. My family is able to eat well and are healthily as I am able to to put food on the table daily basis courtesy of GD transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to start a poultry rearing. Through this, I will get a stable source of income to help me provide for my family well and in time without many struggles as it was the case before the transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have been able to lease a farm to do farming. I did not have any piece of land to do farming so when I leased the farm I have been able to do large scale farming to help in the sustainability of the family. We can raise income by selling the surplus and also consume the remaining. This has been very helpful in my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I shall have ventured into poultry farming to help in the generation of income for the family. I would not want to struggle as before to meet my family needs as before. I want to use the transfers to make a big difference for the future.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I am a large scale farmer as I have ventured into farming which helps ease the stress of hustling so much providing very little income. I also ventured into poultry farming to help generate more income to support my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save and buy poultry to venture into poultry farming. I will be able to sell the poultry and eggs so as to get an income to support my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now able to expand on my farming. I can afford to pay casual labourers to plough, weed and harvest my farm. My family depends on farming to generate income for our upkeep hence I feel at peace because from the harvest, I will be able to sell part of it to raise income to provide for my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to start up a cattle rearing business. I will save part of the transfer and buy cattle for ploughing my farms and also my fellow villagers to earn more income. I will want to improve on my income as much as I can so as to give my family the best. Through this and the poultry business, I will have a stable source of income which will reduce my hard labour to support my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My current life is different from how it was four months in that I am able to meet my family needs without having to work so hard struggling with the odd jobs that pay so little. Spending more than eight hours in the scorching sun only to be paid a little cash that cannot even sustain a day's meal is so disheartening. GiveDirectly has given me some relief even though I still need to work even harder to better my family status.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to ensure that I plant on time, weed on time and ensure that I have enough harvest. I am planning to take care of my farm so that I have enough to feed my family on until the next season.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to plough my farm using an ox plough. Back then, I could use my bare hands to plough which could take me ages to complete, at the same time it was so tiring. Now, I am glad I have completed on time only waiting for the rains. I will have a good harvest like the others and on time too.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life shall have changed for the better. My corn will be sprouting and doing well. This will give me some peace. This will give me surety that I will have some good harvest at the end of it all. This is why I am competing time to ensure that I plough on time at least so that I am not left behind.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
