Give-directly did well by changing my life.I never had the means of even sending my 3 children to school in Cestos.I have been selling Medicine for 6 years,but there were no improvement,because I will have to feed my family from the sales that I generated daily. When give-directly came to my village,My entire life change.I was able to pay my children school fees and added my existing business.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to buy a motorcycle to run it as a business to raise more money for my family. I believe that after the program, I will still have a good source of income to help my family. Through this program, I was able to pay my daughter's school fees and the rest was saved to complete the full amount to purchase the motorcycle.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by helping us unconditionally without any strings attached to it, the program is also straight and fair and I am happy for such an organization. I don't know anything that the organization is not doing.

I have not withdrawn the transfer yet but I am hoping to purchase a motorcycle with it very soon.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have never been able to earned such amount of money since I was born. Secondly, sustaining my family have been a very serious challenge for me. Due to these reasons, I was so much happy when I received my first money from GiveDirectly. For the passed years, I have been cutting wood which I sell to sustain me and my family and also pay my children's school fees. This has been a straining situation for me. I am so excited about this transfer because through it me and my family's lives are going to change positively in the future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am so much happy right now because of the amount of money that I am receiving from GiveDirectly. I have never earned such amount of money before. Right now, the biggest difference in my life is that I am now able to buy zinc to build a comfortable house that will accommodate my family and I in the future. Moreover, I am now able to pay for my children's education without any stress of where or how I will get money for their tuitions. I am so happy for this great opportunity. I just want to say a very big thank you to the Givedirectly family for being able to help me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I do not actually know how to give mighty Jesus the glory because of the intervention of GiveDirectly to change my life positively. For the passed years, I have been planning to build a new house that will accommodate my family and I but I could not because of the lack of finance. My children and I including my wife have been staying under a thatched roof that leaks every rainy season. Due to this reason I have decided to buy two bundles of zinc with portion of the transfer and the remaining portion of it, I spend some for my Children's school fees. I am waiting for my second transfer to buy another two bundles of zinc for the construction of my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to send my kids to the best of school so they can be educated and service humanity. Presently, my children are out of school due to the lack of cash.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past six months, I have been happy because of the changes that ongoing in my county, through GiveDirectly cash transfer program. Moreover with their present here today I am more than happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Some of the challenges are going through now are the lack of cash to send my kids to school, and the means of transporting them on campus.
