How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to establish additional business to add up to what we already have so that our family will not struggle when our transfer elapses. I also had it in mind to service my old bike that's currently on traffic. Additionally, I will have to complete the renevation of my house that I started with my previous transfers, which is the plastering of my house, and laying of the floor.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
We are the only one charging phone in the whole town, and we are humbled, our house is being fixed and our bike is also in a good condition and on traffic. All this wouldn't have been possible if not for God through Give Directly. We are indeed grateful for such a blessing that came our way, and we are also grateful that we were able to maximize this precious opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
We puchased a new tiger generator for commercial purpose, which is to render charging services by opening a charging booth. We also bought six bags of cement to plaster our house and lay the floor. Additionally, we used portion of the money to service our motor bike that's currently on traffic.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am buying cement to plaster our dwelling house. The house we live in doesn't have floor and is unplaster. In so doing, I'm improving our family house up to standard as our dignity is being restored by GD. As the same time, I will use part of my last transfer to purchase zinc for my mother as she's living in different community. This will also enable her to carry on her house construction.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD is doing well by empowering us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My third transfer is currently in save as I'm waiting on the construction worker before purchasing the cement for the job.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I felt very impressed with the transfer received because I didn't labour for such amount. And another reason is, we are six biological children form a mother and father but we were teenagers when our father passed away; in so doing, our mother alone continue to struggle with us. My younger brothers and sisters have being sent out of school for school fees. However, getting the cash grant has enable me to pay their arrel in school. Currently, their arrel are paid by me through the transfers received and I was also able to establish small business as source of income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is doing well by empowering us the poor and I do not know what GD is not well.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"We have a large family who are relying on us and living in our house and we need to support some of them in school but the money is the problem to do that. So, we want to build another house that we might live in alone but also continue to support them with the school".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Whenever there is a life every morning among my family and friends I feel so excited, because when there is life we have joy and everything".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"We make farms, but in most cases we don't earn anything from the harvest. My husband is a Motorcyclist, at times when he goes on the traffic he brings nothing home. Therefore, our challenge is the lack of more money to help us take care of our activities".
