How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I received transfers from Give Directly, I was living in a small house with a grass thatched roof. Since receiving the transfer, I am building a much bigger, nicer house. I am less stressed out and overall a much happier person. Give Directly has brought me peace of mind.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is truly helping people and changing lives. It has changed alot of Malawians by helping end our struggles. We now have houses which we did not have before and are happier and less stressed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a huge relief as the money will help me build a much better house as the one I currently live in leaks badly and I want to put a cement floor

I am happiest whenever I can afford a nice meal with my grandchildren

I lack money for fertilizers which affects my maize yields every year.
