What did you spend your third transfer on?
I bought cement for 7500 KES, murram 6500 KES, sand 5000 KES, labor 5000 KES, Windows, doors and glasses 11680 KES, maize 3300 KES,built a simple kitchen with 3800 KES, a sheep 3200 KES and spending some on food.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
Yes, I have a goal of cementing the whole house, educating my child and buying more cattle.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have seen a big difference, my family is not looked down upon and graded as the poorest because our living standards has improved.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
l spend the money to build a house so l bought poles at 6000 kshs, timber 4500 kshs, nails at 3200 kshs, 15 iron-sheet at 12300 kshs, l also use 4500 kshs to pay labor, l also spend 5000 kshs to buy 2 sheep, furniture at 13000 kshs , l also bought 1 sack of maize at 3500 kshs the remaining 10000 kshs l gave my wife to add into her business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has change because my wife now has improve her business and now we can get daily income from it.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used 3,500 KES to pay fee to my son in high school. Purchased grains for family consumption. I also bought fishing nets with the remaining amount.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I'm planning to use a portion of the transfer to build a new home because where I established my current house is being deputed and some people want me to vacate the land I inherited from my deceased father. I'm also planning to invest the remaining amount in livestock.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on buying materials that I use on the lake in fishing as I am a fisherman, I will spend part of it to invest in my wife's business of selling soap and I will also buy some materials that I will use to repair my house as it is not in good condition. The remaining amount will be spend in buying household items like food and furniture so that my family can be comfortable.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that I have worked as a fisherman and managed to save some cash that I used to build the house that I now stay in as initially I used to stay in a grass thatched house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that my income is low as fish stock in Lake Victoria has reduced and it makes it difficult for me to sustain the needs of my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I wake up in the morning and see my family healthy and ready to start the day.
