How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to see myself in my own house with my entire family living a decent life.I'm most passionate about business.I intend to establish a business for my family's upkeep.I have been working tirelessly to fulfil my greatest desires to become a productive person.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
This organisation made a lot of us build our own houses. I want them to kindly extent their help to other villages and towns as well to help reduce some burdens.Their entire work was excellent.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will buy one bundle of zinc to complete the two bundles I bought previously to build our beautiful home with 3 bedrooms.My house is not in good condition during the rainy season.We can't sleep in peace because of the leakage.It has been my worry each time we approaching rainy season, not until Givedirectly brought their help, which helped us to purchase enough zinc to change our house roof.

Givedirectly has done very well for us. It is through Givedirectly cash transfer that some of us will own a house.

My plan has always been to build a house but my dream couldn't come to pass due to lock of money.Therefore, when I received my recent transfer, I decided to purchase two bundles of zinc to begin the process.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
During rainy season, sleeping in my house is almost like sleeping outside and I don't feel comfortable living in such a house. If I get this money from GD, I will use it to build my family house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing has ever made me happy than receiving a telephone from GD with the hope that I will get enough money to support my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major problem is the lack of sufficient money to sent my children to school and to build my house.
