In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to send me unconditional cash that I have used to construct a permanent house and pay off a debt that I had. GiveDirectly has only done good to me.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has got better, because I am building a permanent house that will move to after completion. I have got back my acre of land that was taken because of the debt. This money has also relieved me from the debt burden that I had. Previously, the money lender kept putting me on pressure because of his money and he was threatening to sell my acre to recover his money since I had failed to pay it. The house that I currently stay is open from up because the thatch has greatly become scarce.
