I bought 2 mattress at 4,600 KES, I bought blankets at a total of 2,500 KES, I also bought half bag of maize at 800 and spent 1,000 KES on food.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails and iron roofing sheets which I will use to build a better house for my family and a pit latrine, I will also use part of the transfers to buy tools that I can use in my workshop.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked as a blacksmith for a while, I have been able to save some of my earnings and bought some livestock, sadly most of the livestock often succumb to various types of illnesses.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself. I am a blacksmith but business is not very good, I have been unable to raise money to till my farms and I fear that this year my family will often be sleeping hungry.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because I am always optimistic that the day will be fruitful in terms of the amount of work customers will bring to my workshop.
