Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The idea is to keep growing in the livestock business. When the goats increase in number, I can sell a few let's say four and then buy a cow. The process will replicate until I have lots of livestock. This way, I can always liquidate to get cash for other emerging issues.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Before the transfers were sent, I never knew I would one-day own goats for rearing. I have desired to invest in livestock raising because my paps used to do that while we were growing and it supported us in terms of raising school fees and getting food for upkeep. I am hoping that this will help me raise money for our household expenditure as well and that I can support my siblings with school fees so that they can stop staying home as they have been due to lack of school fees.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months God willing I will have bought a cow after disposing of four of my goats. I am also intending to clear the school fees arrears of my siblings and purchase household shopping for my household to have them lead a comfortable life.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Previously, I had to wait until the rainy season to sell seeds to the farmers, and if bad went to worse, we had to sell our farm produce to enable us to buy food for our family which could also make us lack food for ourselves because we had nothing in stock to feed on after selling everything. This is no longer the case as the money we receive enables us to purchase basic needs without having to sell our farm produce or even wait until the rains come for us to sell the seeds and buy food for the family. We always have food all through nowadays.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of purchasing plastic hire chairs for hire. These will make me make profits to supplement my wages that are too little to comfortably meet our family needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I do casual jobs and occasionally sell seeds to farmers that earn me so little and cannot allow me to feed my self comfortably let alone support my family. This has changed in the last four months. With the money I am receiving from GiveDirectly, I am able to supplement my wages and ensure my family gets a decent meal. There are some little comfort and peace someone has when you are assured of the next meal.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am hopeful that the plastic chairs will have been purchased in large number and ready for hire. By that time, profits shall have started streaming in and the family lifestyle shall have improved.

My proudest achievement was when I assisted my parents to build their house by buying them 10 iron sheets to add to what they already bought.I am happy to see my family living in a descent house, especially knowing that I contributed towards that.
