What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying 40 bags of cement to plaster my house. I wanted it to look neat without smearing. Paid for labor for the people who handled finishing of the house, paid for medical bills for my child who was unwell and used the balance on daily meals.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 40300 Kes on buying building materials ( iron-sheets, nails and timber), transporting them home and paying for building labour. With the rest of the money, I gave my mother 3000 Kes and spent the remaining on buying food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am in a better house, which does not leak like the thatched house I was in before. Today, am always at peace even if it rains in the middle of the night because I do not have to pack my property in one corner of the house where it does not leak and stay awake the whole night when it rains because am under an iron-roofed house. Thanks to GD.

I spent my first transfer on buying a cupboard at 7,000 KES, half a sack of maize at 2,000 KES, then used the rest on little house items. My utensils are now kept safe unlike before when rats used to eat my plastic plates.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I was pregnant, expecting twins but suddenly got seriously ill and the doctor said that my pregnancy was adding more risk to my life. I was forced to a medical abortion, this still harts me knowing that I would be a proud mother of the two that were lost prematurely.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm happiest after lunch, at this time I'm relaxed from daily hard chores and fully fed.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Getting the money will bring me a change in lifestyle. I'm currently living in a leaking thatched roof house that troubles me during rainy season, I'll have the opportunity to construct an iron roofed house.
