What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the whole of my second transfer on building materials lile cement, bricks, sand among others to complete the construction of my permanent house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opionion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the unconditional transfer that I used for restoring my health and building a better house. However, there is nothing bad that GiveDirectly has done.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has now improved in that, I sleep in a permanent house as opposed to the dilapidated thatched house I used to stay. In addition, my health is now better because I had complications with my Urinary system that needed an operation but I never had the money for it.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for purchasing a cow at 1010,000 ugx, bedings at 200,000 ugx, making bricks at 240,000 ugx, hospital bills at 40,000 ugx, food at 50,000 ugx, and have my trustee 30,000 ugx. I have not yet spent 110,000 ugx but am planning to spend on labour for making bricks.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment l received my money, I became very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have been in position to own a cow and descent bedings at my old age. Am also in the process of making bricks for constructing an iron roofed house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to facilitate treatment and yet I am in need.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I am seated with my daughter-in-law.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to meet my medical bills since it has been the most dificult thing for me to do.
