Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I feel so excited having received this money that has helped me to get back my farm land and partially hire another that I am now freely cultivating on. Prior to getting this transfer, I had a very small portion to farm on and it was never enough given that I had to plant several crops. I ended up hiring more gardens at a high cost that at times I would end up not benefiting from the crops I have planted since I did not have the money to pay up for the hired land and the crops taken by the owner of land as payment.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy. This is because I had waited for this chance for a very long time.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on getting back my farm land that had been given out in exchange for money to cater for some home emergencies at Ugx 800000.
I then bought some g.nut seedling and payed labour that helped to plough the farm land, plant and weed the g.nuts.
I also bought some house hold items such as chairs, utensils, three mattresses, a bed, solar system and food for feeding my family.
I partially paid some money for hiring farm land at Ugx 200000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to retrive the piece of land that was leased. This will enable my household to have enough land that we can cultivate and get food to feed on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the noon time when my children are playing. It is a sign that they are healthy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of land for cultivation. Since the piece of land that we had was leased out, only a small portion that is not enough to sustain my household is left. We are not able to cultivate as we would really wish to. As such, we are always faced with the problem of food shortage.
