How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is very different now. The money that I received from GiveDirectly helped me overcome alot of challenges in my life. I now have food, life is way better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I fell like GiveDirectly does everything right by giving us money and let us do what we want with it.

I spent the money on two things, firstly I spent the money on buying bricks to improve my house then I bought 15 bags of maize with the other money

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so grateful that am receiving this money. I will use it to buy clothes weddings and also food. My wife and I are old people and we struggle allot to get money. GD is a life saver

I am the happiest when I eat meat and drink tea with milk
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I mostly do not have enough food for my family and I. Also our sleeping place is not that descent
