Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Before receiving this transfer, I didn't have a stable source of income, I was depending on agricultural produce that couldn't meet all my needs. Upon recieving money from GiveDirectly, I was in position to start up a business that generates daily income that supports my family. Secondly, I have acquired the materials that are going to be used for constructing a kitchen.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I was over whelmed by joy because I had got money to start up a business of my choice that will generate income.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase a television for business and paid rent for a room at the trading g center for watching television. I also bought iron sheets, radio and paid school fees for my daughter. I have not yet spent UGX 150,000 but I intend to spend it for buying sand for constructing a kitchen.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will enable me renovate my house and pay my child's tuition who is in a candidate class. In addition, I can also start up a small business for myself.

The happiest day of my life is in the evening. This is because it's time when I rest after accomplishing my daily tasks.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest harsdship in my life is lack of enough money to meet my family needs such as tuition and household goods.
