How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that I am healthier because I received adequate treatment. Prior to this cash transfer, I used to sell produce in order to get treatment which was not adequate enough.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through giving unconditional cash transfers that households like mine spend to sort out deficits in their/ my home(s) like treatment. GiveDirectly looks perfect to me since it tries as much as possible to solve major community challenges.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 300000 for completing payment of a plot of land that we intend to build our commercial building for business. I lent my neighbour UGX 350000 in exchange for an acre of land.I bought ametalic door worth UGX 180000. I bought a mattress, clothes and food for my household worth UGX 510000 and the balance of UGX 292000, I spent it on my treatment.
