What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have managed to spend my cash transfer on procuring agricultural materials such as fertiliser and seeds..I bought 4 bags of maize which I intend to apply in my maize field in the next farming season. Also bought livestock such as goats which I will be raising outside my house..I will be selling some of the goats in the future inorder to find money for food and other basic needs. Lastly, I bought 4 bags of maize inorder to top up on the few bags that I had and to make sure that my family is secured in terms of food..I saved the other part of the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these payments is that in the past I have now been able to afford buying 4 bags of fertilizer which I desired so much..In the past I used to grow crops without fertilizer application. Also, I have noticed that my family is so happy as we are able to eat healthy and nutritious foods as compared to the past where we could sleep on an empty stomach.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my cash transfer I was so joyful.and very thankful as I knew that I have finally find money that I could use in procuring some of the things that I lacked.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have an epileptic son who needs close attention. We fail to farm or do other household development activities because one of us has to stay with him and we can't be away for so long. This impacts on our income stream because we have limited capacity. As a result we have no food and clothes and we lack in many household needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
There is nothing that brought joy to our household.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Getting this money, I will use it to build a house because my children are growing and they need more soon and space of there own.
