What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to buy a cow and two bulls. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now own livestock which has been my long term desire.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it improves the living standard of the poor. My wish is too see GD continue helping us on monthly basis.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying 10 pieces of iron sheets 8,000 KES since I am planning to expand my house with the upcoming transfer. I bought cupboard 8000 KES, a steel door 7500 KES and a dairy cow 15,000 KES .I also paid school fees for my child who is in high school 10,000 KES and the remaining amount I bought food for my family members.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I educate my child with ease hence he is no longer sent home for school fees hence peaceful state of mind.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used 35000 KES to till 1 acre of land for maize farming since the planting season was approaching. I then bought 1 sack of dry maize at 3500 KES for my family's food. The balance was then used to pay part of school fees for my son in secondary school.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt really happy the moment I received the money because I was so stressed about how I would cultivate my farm to grow maize; but this transfer was going to help me out.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to use the transfer on renovating my house because my current one is in a poor state.Secondly, l will pay school fess for my son in form three in secondary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is building my own house from my savings.l was able to do so after getting good harvest from my rice farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Biggest hardship in my life is making ends meet and paying school fees for my children. Farming is not enough to support all my family needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is in the morning when working in my rice farm, because that's the source of my income.
