What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy chairs because I had few chairs. I buoght a solar lump for light provision. I used a portion of the transfer to complete my house. I commenced building it with the first transfers but left it incomplete due to financial inadequecy. I also purchased foostuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a larger house which hold all my household compared to the small one I had.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is that it is focus in its activities. At the moment, I'm not sure of what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building my own homestead as I use to stay at my grandfather's homestead. The remaining cash I spent on cultivating rice for both domestic and commercial purpose.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is owning homestead which has now improve my privacy and another difference is rice cultivation which has enable me, feed and provide for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I decided to spend 8000 KES on a sofa set. I never had one and we used to sit on the floor before. I spent the remaining 2000 KES on food for my household members since we were starving.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I will use half of my upcoming second transfer to build a better house that can keep us warm. My current house is leaking. And invest the remaining amount in rice irrigation since I want to improve my income.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to build a new home of our own. Lastly l would to save money for my son who is in standard seven is yet to join high school come next year but one.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that l have struggled to build my own house.

My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to pay school fees for my children who are in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening after selling my goods and getting some profit to buy food for my family.
